Living on the inside of the TT course raises new challenges for canvassing. Consequently I decided on Saturday to relax and enjoy the racing. There can’t be many places in the world where the road outside your house turns into a world renowned race circuit. It lived up to its reputation on Saturday and bank holiday Monday.
I did manage some canvassing on Sunday in some of the more remote area in Glenfaba. In between races Suzie and I, along with volunteers, have been stuffing envelopes with my manifesto which should go out in the next 7 to 8 days.
We even managed to pick some blackberries which along with the fantastic crop of apples from our trees have been turned into pie and crumble.
